Sherry Amos is a veteran marketing professional with twenty
six years experience in the field. With endless energy,
enthusiasm and experience she has earned the respect of all
who have worked with her. Sherry’s performance has consistently
exceeded her client’s expectations.
Prior to founding Sherry Amos
and Associates LLC, Sherry was the Vice President of Marketing
overseeing the daily operations of the marketing, database,
public relations, advertising, entertainment and business planning
divisions at the Tropicana Casino And Resort in Atlantic City,
New Jersey. A few of her many accomplishments are:
- Responsible
for overseeing the development, strategic planning, marketing,
budgeting, execution and launch of the “Quarter”,
Tropicana’s $285 million dining, entertainment, shopping
and spa facility. In addition she handled the recruitment
and negotiations of more than 70 tenants and developed strong
partnerships with each.
- Managed the Marketing, Public Relations,
Direct Marketing, Entertainment, Advertising, Special Events,
Business Planning, and Tenant Marketing programs. She continually
produced award winning programs and financial results that
surpassed competitors.
- Responsible
for the conception and implementation of hundreds of special
events and entertainment extravaganzas that have been critical
tools in building customer frequency for many clients.
- Sherry Amos and Associates, LLC was retained by
the Cordish Company in Baltimore, Md. and has developed
and implemented the marketing plan for Seminole Paradise
located at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Seminole Paradise is South Florida’s
hot spot featuring 17 restaurants, 22 retail shops and 11
nightclubs connected to an award winning casino.
- Sherry Amos and Associates, LLC was recently selected
as the marketing company to develop and implement marketing
plans for The Meadows Racetrack and Casino outside of Pittsburgh
Pa.
- Sherry Amos and Associates, LLC has also successfully developed
and implemented numerous marketing plans for the Greater
Philadelphia Tourism and Marketing Corporation, Indiana Live!
Casino outside of Indianapolis, Indiana, RDR Properties Development
in Asbury Park, N.J. as well as implementing marketing duties
for many regional concerts, festivals, events and non-profit
fun raisers.
- Sherry Amos and Associates, LLC was selected as the “Media
Agency” of record for the Philadelphia Independence,
Women’s Professional Soccer Team kicking off the Inaugural
Season this coming spring of 2010.
Sherry Amos is a member of the ICSC (International Council
of Shopping Centers), the Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce,
The South Jersey Chamber of Commerce, the Public Relations
Council of Greater Atlantic City and the Gloucester County
Chamber of Commerce. Sherry is also a frequent instructor for
the Stockton Institute of Gaming Management as well as a regular
participant on various panels with the American Gaming Association
and Global Gaming Expo.
